Made from grapes harvested in the first two weeks of September, Castillo de Jumilla Rosé perfectly expresses all of the qualities Monastrell can bring to a rosé. To achieve this, we do a short maceration with the skin on and a long temperature-controlled fermentation. Clean and powerful on the nose, with intense notes of strawberries and roses. It starts big on the palate with a round, elegant texture and a pleasant finish. Sublime for hors d’oeuvre and summer dinners in good company, it pairs well with seafood, roe, dried tuna, all sorts of fish, light meats, rice and pasta. Recommended serving temperature: between 8° C and 10 ° C.
Being in a lesser-known appellation in South-East of Spain, Bodegas Bleda provide their wines in a very reasonable price as well as exciting quality. The grapes are all cultivated in organic practice, although the wines are not organic certified. The resulting wines are with good concentration, balanced acidity and complex.
