Chateau de Bel is an independent boutique winery based in Bordeaux. The property was purchased by Olivier Cazenave in 2003 after endless searching, with the ambition of making tasty and affordable wines which also represent their own style. The vineyards were restructured in 2005, planting high quality Merlot and especially Cabernet Franc which is one of Olivier’s favourite varietals. In 2016, all the vineyards are cultivated with biodynamic agriculture, to make the wines more pleasurable, healthy and respectful.
