Pino Doncel Black is a variation from its little brother. Blending a small portion of Petit Verdot adds a darker character to the wines. It was aged in oak for 5 months to add a hint of oak. The wine expresses herbs, cinnamon, candy, vanilla, blackberries and plums. Medium plus body is filled with good intensity of fruits with a lingering soft touch of sweetness.
Being in a lesser-known appellation in South-East of Spain, Bodegas Bleda provide their wines in a very reasonable price as well as exciting quality. The grapes are all cultivated in organic practice, although the wines are not organic certified. The resulting wines are with good concentration, balanced acidity and complex.
