Country: Spain

Located in a region with one of the richest winemaking heritage, Bodegas Bleda is a family winery whose origin dates back to 1915, and belongs to the designation of origin Jumilla, in Valle de Omblancas at an altitude of 600 meters above the sea level. Bodegas Bleda is characterized by the elaboration of high-quality wines, recognized in many national and international competitions.

The winery’s greatest treasure is their property: 250 hectares of vineyards, cultivated fulfilling the criteria for ecological agriculture. The predominant variety is Monastrell, of Spanish origin, which is the most suited for Jumilla’s environment. The grapes can best adapt Jumilla’s warm and drought climate and ripen very well. The abrupt temperature changes also allow the grapes to keep its acidity and develop concentration and intensity.
